This time of year our roads become very soft due to high soil moisture content, frost coming out of the ground and spring precipitation . For that reason we would like for residents to restrict gross vehicle weight (GVW) to a maximum of 24,000 lbs. (24k). This means that most deliveries such as lumber, Appliances, propane, furniture are OK. However deliveries of gravel, concrete, heavy equipment on trailers and any other load exceeding 24,000 GVW should be deferred for about the next 6 weeks depending upon spring weather. Residents or their contractors who choose to move loads over subdivision roads that exceed 24 K GVW May be subject to assessments if damage to our roads occurs.
