Reminder: Timberline Creek Neighborhood Fire Risk Meeting Tonight

Just a reminder that the Timberline Creek Neighborhood Fire Risk Meeting will be held tonight.
Date: August 2, 2021 Time: 7 PM Where: Fort Ellis Volunteer Fire Department @ 3725 Bozeman Trail Rd.
Topics discussed include:
– Safe ingress / egress of our Timberline Creek neighborhood – Defensible / Survivable Space around our homes – Hazardous Fuel Reduction – Forest Health and Proper Spacing – What a local response will look like in the event there is a fire ( including possible exit out the old public road at the top of Woodchuck that ultimately leads down into Cokedale) – Possible Resource Collaboration
NCRS, USDA and Fort Ellis VFD Staff will be presenting on the topics above and how each apply to our neighborhood. We will also invite a Q/A session following each of their presentations. If the weather cooperates, we will plan to have the meeting outside on the lawn so bring your favorite lawn chair. We will move indoors if needed.

Noxious Weed Spraying Begins July 19

TCRMA has hired Young’s Tree & Forestry to spot spray noxious weeds along the community roadways beginning Monday, July 19. This service is estimated to take approx. 5-7 days depending on weather conditions.
Residents who choose to opt-out of this service must have their property lines clearly marked by next Monday and must be responsible for controlling the noxious weeds on their property. “NO SPRAY” indicators should be marked directly on the road surface; notices posted on trees can be easily missed.

Under state law, it is the resident’s responsibility to control the spread of noxious weeds on their property.

If you have questions, please call Holly at (406)580-7117.

Thank you
