Snow Plowing 12/29-30

With 10-15 ” of new snow in the forecast in the next 2 days and 4-6″ on the ground right now Brian may start plowing tomorrow afternoon depending on the winds. If it is gusting to 25+ mph he may have to wait. With those kinds of conditions the road would drift back in within a few hours.

Snow Plowing 12/26-27

Unfortunately, Brian and family came down with the flu or the norovirus. Ron Holden , Bob Bogison, Pete Moncada, and others, have stepped in and plowed as many of the roads as they could with at least a wide single track clearance.

Hopefully, Brian will recover in the next 48 hrs and feel well enough to plow if we get the 6-8″ on new snow in the forecast for tonight through Tue morning

12/22 Grader Repair

Brian was able to make temporary repair on the grader and will resume plowing tonight or tomorrow morning. We don’t want to have to redo the wet side of TC so we will wait for snowfall to diminish before resuming plowing Colt, Rifle, Winchester, Sundown, and feeder roads.
The east side of TC will be plowed late Saturday & Sunday. Any questions, call Ron – 570 8924, or Ray – 586 2186 . Please do not call Brian, he has been advise not to take calls from TC residents.

Snow Plowing 12/22-23

Our grader is down with a mechanical failure in a blade support arm. Mechanic is sheduleded to look at the problem Friday. Hopefully it will be repaired quickly so we can plow the roads on Saturday – assuming we get the 6-12″ of new snow forecasted for tonight, Friday, and Friday night..

Snow Plowing 12/21-22

Brian has begun plowing this morning on Woodchuck and will then move to plowing the east side of TC, including Upper Woodchuck, High Ridge, Peak, and Clear Springs. Plowing the west side will begin later today and continue into tomorrow.

If the forecast of 8+” of new snow for tonight thru Friday happens we will begin the whole process over again on Saturday starting with the west side of TC first.

Snow Plowing, Sunday, 12/17/17

We will start plowing snow Sunday morning about 8-9 AM, starting on the west side, meaning Woodchuck from Colt to mailboxes, then Winchester, Sundown, Colt, and Rifle. and feeder roads. Upper Woodchuck, High Ridge, Peak, and Clear Springs may be started later in the day. but will not be finished until until sometime Monday.

Any questions: call Ray – 586 2186. Please do not call Brian, he has been advised not to take calls from members.
