Road Work

Upper High Ridge and Peak have been widened by the dozer but are very soft and need work to push back the shoulders with our grader snow wing. Tentatively we will have our grader back in next couple days.
Upper Woodchuck – HR/Woodchuck intersection and north to the steep grade on the south slope, has been opened by the dozer, but is in poor condition and only a narrow single track. Do not attempt to use this section except in an emergency using 4WD vehicle with chains.

ALL AND ANY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, no matter where your property is located, MUST NOT BE INITIATED OR RESTARTED UNTIL OUR ROADS DRY OUT.

Dozer Snow Plowing 4/15

The hired grader has finished most roads except for upper High Ridge, upper Peak, upper Woodchuck and upper Peacemaker. The snow pack is too deep in these areas for the grader. Tomorrow we will have a dozer back to these areas to clear them. It will be about noon before the dozer is in place (H R/Peak intersection) to begin working. The order of work is Peak, then High Ridge, then Woodchuck, then Peacemaker.

Snow Plowing 4/13

Plowing will begin about mid morning by our hired grader. The TC grader is supposed to be out of the shop and returned to us later today; and will work on the secondary roads and pushing back the road shoulders.

Snow Plowing 4/3

Bill Harrison, who has been helping us keep our roads passable while our grader is awaiting parts, will be sending his grader to begin snow removal tomorrow morning, 4/3. We anticipate our own grader to be back in service by the end of the week. Please contact me with any questions or concerns, my contact info is listed on the TCRMA- Board Members Page .

Grader Status and road condition.

The grader is still out of service due to delays in obtaining parts. We now expect the the grader to be back in service by Friday. We have been using a third party to grade the snow and slush off of the roads. They can only do so much given the excessive snow and ice buildup this year. The run off is heavy and there is little we can do about it.It is too early to begin addressing the potholes. Please feel free to contact me if you have a specific concern. Road grading

Road grading will begin this morning. We will start with a few spots on Woodchuck and proceed to Winchester. We will work on other roads based on conditions. The focus will be to remove slush and ice and to facilitate drainage. Sent from my iPhone
