Weed spraying

Weed spraying is NOT completed in the High Ridge upper Woodchuck Peak Rd areas due to the weather over the weekend. That area will not be completed until next week end. Please check that any no spray markings are still clearly marked by the end of the week.

Weed Spraying

As previously posted weed spraying of the TLC road easement will begin on Monday August 5th. This is subject to weather factors including wind and rain. Treatment should take about three days. If you are opting out you must have property bounds marked by Sunday the 4th. One of the most effective ways to mark your property is to use high visibility marking paint and spray the paint on the road surface.
The treatment of the easement for noxious weeds is a legal requirement of Gallatin County and the State of Montana. If you are opting out of the TCRMA program you are legally required to mitigate your own property.

Weed Spraying to Begin Monday, August 5th.

TCRMA will be hiring a contractor to spot spray for noxious weeds along the road easements as outlined in the community bylaws. Weather permitting, this will begin the morning of August 5th and last approx. 3 days. If you choose to use an alternative solution to control the noxious weeds on your property and do not want to have the section of road on your property sprayed, please make sure that your property line boundaries are clearly marked with NO SPRAY signs. To ensure that signage is visible to the contractor, please make sure to have your signs directly on the road edge on the appropriate side when driving; signs posted up on trees on the side of the road can easily be missed. Both sides of your property boundaries must be clearly marked to avoid confusion. Any signage must be posted by the evening of August 4th. Please contact a board member if you have any questions; contact info can be found under the Board Members link under TCRMA. Thank you

New Documents Posted (and Member access to documents)

Hello,
New Minutes, Financials and an updated Member List have been posted to www.timberlinecreekcommunity.com under TCRMA. A menu called Legal has also been added under TCRMA with information about the road dispute. These are all secure pages only available to members.

You must be a REGISTERED member on the site, and you must log in to access secure pages. You may register by going to the Login/Out menu, selecting Login / Register, clicking Register, and entering the requested information. Because these sections are for property owners only your registration requires approval. You will be notified when approved and then may access the secure pages. This should happen the same or next day.

Note that Subscribing (also under the Login/Out menu) is different than registering. Subscribing does not require a password. Subscribers will only receive alerts about road maintenance. Registering requires a password and is the only way to access secure files.

Some have had issues registering or changing passwords. If you have any problems with this and cannot access secure files, or any other issues with the site please TEXT Karen Cox at 406-223-3871 and I will get you set up ASAP.

Thank you,

Parking at intersections.

In Timberline parking opposite intersections, particularly on the down hill side of intersections like the Rifle Rd Colt Rd intersection, may be hazardous. If you must park your vehicle near these intersections it would be advisable to park away from the intersection not directly adjacent to the intersecting road to avoid a collision do to icy conditions.
