Delinquent Road Dues List

As discussed at the annual meeting in October, the TCRMA Board has voted to publish a list of association members who have outstanding road maintenance fees. This list is a secure document and may only be viewed by registered association members. Late and non-payment of road fees creates a burden on the association, creating unnecessary expenses in the attempt to collect past due fees and directly effecting the Board’s ability to address road maintenance projects and safety issues. Association members who have not paid their association dues by January 2020 will have a lien filed against their property and the Board is also considering pursuing legal judgements in court against non-paying members.

The list is published under TCRMA – Delinquent Road Dues List and is only accessible to property owners who are registered and logged in.

Snow

Andy plowed all the roads today but it has dropped 6 inches on Sundown since 5 PM and is still snowing hard. Andy will be back out on Saturday.

Snow plowing

There is a lot of light fluffy but drifting snow. Andy will start plowing early tomorrow morning (Friday). Snow is forecast for most of the day tomorrow. Drive with care if you must go out. Pete Moncada 843-696-3089

Icy roads

Andy put salt sand on parts of Lower Woodchuck, Lower High Ridge, Colt , Winchester, Sundown yesterday afternoon. However heavy rain during the evening hours has likely limited its effectiveness. Temperatures remained above freezing over night. VERY slippery conditions should be expected in some areas this morning. Chaining up your vehicles may be advised. Andy will stockpile more sand this week and we will sand as needed later in the week. This may not take place before Thursday.

Installing New Road Signs

The TCRMA Board is seeking association members who may be interested in helping install new road safety signs on Woodchuck Road tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 9th. The weather promises to be fairly warm so if you have time and are interested in helping out, please contact Board members Dan Waddell 548-8445 or Phil Aumann 599-3259. All residents entering and exiting the subdivision tomorrow, please slow down and watch for members working on lower Woodchuck. Thank you!

Please Drive Safely

The TCRMA Board regrets the news of the recent accident on Woodchuck involving resident Gerry Groggel. Fortunately, there was not significant personal injury. In light of the combination of snowy winter conditions followed by thaw and refreezing, the Board reminds residents to please slow down and drive cautiously, especially on blind corners, and give yourself a few extra minutes to arrive at your destination. Also, if you have not already changed your vehicle over to snow tires, please make that a priority, for your own safety and for that of your fellow community members. The Board does its best to determine when road-sanding might help mitigate some of these conditions, but please remember that the Association does not have on-call sanders at all times on all days, so the Association cannot apply sand every single time the roads become icy. The most effective thing residents can do during icy conditions is to PLEASE SLOW DOWN and drive cautiously at all times.
