High Ridge Rd Closure

Northweastern Energy is going to complete the power install along upper High Ridge Rd this week. They will be closing the High Ridge Rd from this afternoon thru the end of this week. It will be closed from Hopewell’s driveway to Peak Rd.

Snow plowing

Snow plowing will commence this afternoon. We will start on the east end. All roads should be plowed by noon tomorrow. Wind is forecast for tomorrow. We will deal with drifting as needed. Pete Moncada 843-696-3089

Woodchuck/ Winchester Intersection Construction

Starting on Monday October 4,2021 we will start installing a larger culvert at the intersection of Woodchuck Rd and Winchester Rd. The road will be down to One lane for 2 to 3 days. At no time is it expected to be closed. Please slow to a stop at this intersection while work is in progress. Use extreme caution when passing thru the work area. Keep in mind that outbound traffic has the right of way.

Grizzly

There have been a couple of grizzly sightings east of the subdivision not far from my property this last week. One charged a couple of bow hunters very aggressively. Might be worth a post to the community.
