Upper Woodchuck and the High Ridge Woodchuck intersection is closed due to deeply drifted snow. Andy cannot get through with the grader and will have to dig it out with the loader. It may be sometime tomorrow or Friday before it is open again. The wind is forecast to continue into Friday so expect roads to blow back in. Andy is doing his best to keep all the roads open. Andy is out plowing now and both Andy and Zander will be out into the early evening keeping the roads open so folks can make it home. They will be out till maybe 6 or 7 and will be out again in the morning. The roads are drifting in almost as fast as they can plow them. Please drive very carefully as visibility is low and other vehicles are on the roads. Try to make it home early. Feel free to contact me if you have questions. Pete Moncada 843-695-3089

Most roads should be reopened by midday today. Peace Maker is the exception. It is deep and wind packed and the grader cannot make up the hill. Andy will be up later today with a loader to open it up. Pete Moncada 843-696-3089

We are aware of the problems with excess slush on out roads. Andy is also aware and is mobilizing to mitigate the problem as soon a possible. The roads as of this minute are in some cases impassable without 4 WD or AWD and chains. Please use caution and do not attempt to negotiate the roads until we can get them cleared off.

The TCRMA annual meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 at Fort Ellis Fire Dept. at 7 PM. The Fort Ellis Fire Dept. is located at 3725 Bozeman Trail Road.

TCRMA has hired Young’s Tree & Forestry to spot spray noxious weeds along the community roadways beginning Monday, August 8. This service is estimated to take at least 7 days depending on weather conditions. Residents who choose to opt-out of this service must have their property boundaries clearly marked by next Monday and must be responsible for controlling the noxious weeds on their property. “NO SPRAY” indicators should be marked directly on the road surface; notices posted on trees can be easily missed. Under state law, it is the resident’s responsibility to control the spread of noxious weeds on their property.
